CLARK, NJ- The Arthur L. Johnson High School Crusaders varsity baseball team takes to their field against Elizabeth HS on Tuesday, May 8 at 4:30 p.m after their Senior Day ceremony, where they will honor the 2018 seniors for their hard work and dedication towards the Johnson baseball program.
The ceremony starts at 3:45 p.m. and the game will take place after the ceremony is complete.

Efrian Correa hits one out, far and gone for a three-run home run. Elizabeth takes the 3-0 lead.
Spallone rebounds and gets the next two batters to end the inning and Johnson is coming to bat.
Mike Casalino works a leadoff walk.
A single for Zach Thornton up the middle and there are runners at first and second with no outs for Johnson.
Joe Turek walks on four pitches and the bases are now loaded with no outs.
Early pitching change by Elizabeth, just three batters in. Bases loaded, no outs for Johnson.
Long sacrifice fly for Kevin Metz, Casalino scores and the Elizabeth lead is now 3-1.
Another run comes in on a throwing error and it’s 3-2 Elizabeth after one inning.
A two-out walk and stolen base and an RBI single makes it 4-2 Elizabeth.
Another run-scoring single and it’s 5-2 Elizabeth.
We head to the bottom of the second inning.
Johnson goes down 1-2-3 in the inning and trail Elizabeth 5-2 after two innings.
Pat Grady comes on in relief for starter Ryan Spallone.
Elizabeth has runners at the corners with one out.
Huge double play started up by Saul Lopez, flips to Steve Harrington and to Thornton to get out of the jam. 4-6-3 DP as we go to the bottom of the third inning.
Mike Casalino gets whacked by a pitch to lead off the inning.
Kevin Metz sends one out to deep left field on Senior Day. Two-run home run makes it 5-4 Elizabeth after three innings.
All with two outs: a single, a walk and HBP and the bases are now loaded for Elizabeth.
On the first pitch after the HBP, Grady gets the comebacker and throws to first to end the jam as we go to the bottom of the fourth inning.
Kyle Adorno takes advantage of a mishandle by the second baseman and reaches on an error to lead off the inning.
Grady works around a one-out baserunner to get through the inning as we head to the bottom of the fifth inning.
Top of the Johnson order goes down 1-2-3. They trail Elizabeth 5-4 through five innings.
Kevin Metz leads off the bottom of the sixth inning with a double. Tying run on for Johnson.

Kyle Adorno walks and the bases are loaded for Johnson with no outs.

The comeback kids. Nick McCaffery gives Johnson the 6-5 lead with an RBI single. Still no outs.
Saul Lopez with the big blow. A deep fly ball clears the bases and a triple. Johnson now leads 9-5.
Lopez comes in on a wild pitch and it’s 10-5 Johnson. Elizabeth recorded no outs when those six runs scored.
Steve Harrington with a two-run single and Johnson is off and flying. It’s 12-5 here in the bottom of the sixth inning.
