CLARK, NJ – Gianna Randazza, Arthur L. Johnson High School’s star softball player, signed a National Letter of Intent to attend and play for Boston College in a signing ceremony held Tuesday at the high school.
“It’s still a crazy thought to me,” Randazza said. “I never thought I’d be able to achieve my goal of playing division one softball and the fact that I get to commit to my dream school is an amazing thought!”
The senior pitcher led the Crusaders softball team to a divisional, county, and state championship in 2016. She was named first team, all-state as a junior.
“It truly is a blessing to see how God had blessed Gianna and allowed her to fulfill her dream,” Gianna’s mother, Maria Randazza said. “All her years of hard work and tremendous amount of hours practicing was worth it. Clark Township and ALJ have been incredible with Gianna. I am so grateful to this town and school for all their support. Gianna has been blessed by great friends, coaches and people surrounding her.”
