Arthur L. Johnson High School Senior Jon Duffy Achieves Milestone 1,000 Career Varsity Rushing Yards

CLARK, NJ – The Arthur L. Johnson High School Crusaders regular season finale would be one to remember for senior and co-captain Jon Duffy. On Saturday, November 5, he achieved and passed the milestone of 1,000 career rushing yards in the Crusaders’ 35-20 win over Governor Livingston HS.

Duffy secured the milestone with his five-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter. In the game, Duffy ran for 195 yards on nine carries, and says if it weren’t for his teammates, the offensive line and coaching staff, none of this would have been possible.

“The fact that I hit 1,000 yards just shows me and other players like Nick Fischetti are both doing big things that we couldn’t do without our offensive line.” -Johnson senior and co-captain Jon Duffy

Duffy also received the game ball following the victory.
