Cranford recorded four pins in a span of six matches as they defeated Woodbridge 52-14 in the NJSIAA North Jersey, Section 2, Group 4 state tournament. They advanced to the semifinals to take on top-seeded and No. 10 Phillipsburg on Wednesday night at 6:00 p.m.
Patrick Kalnins, Jimmy Gluck, Dean Smith, A.J. Bencivenga and Kevin Shriner all recorded a pin in the team victory. The other wins for Cranford on the afternoon came from one technical fall and three decisions as they cruised to a win in the state tourney opener.
