Max Carmino beats the throw for an infield bunt single. Johnson has runners at the corners with no outs.
Joe Turek walks and the bases are loaded for Johnson with no outs for Kevin Metz.
Metz grounds out and Thornton comes home to give Johnson the 1-0 lead.
Steve Harrington sends one to deep center field, scoring Carmino and courtesy runner Saul Lopez (for Turek) before being thrown out advancing to second. Johnson leads Summit 3-0 after one inning.

A two-out walk proves costly. Trevor Mutolo takes one out to deep right field and gone for a two-run home run. Summit takes the 4-3 lead.
We head to the bottom of the third inning. Johnson trails Summit 4-3.
