OLD TAPPAN- Second-seeded Old Tappan is now one step closer towards defending their North 1, Group 4 state championship from 2017 after a 24-8 win over sixth-seeded Wayne Valley Friday night. Drew Dippolito and John Caracciolo powered the Golden Knights, with the QB-WR combination getting two touchdown passes on a night where not much action took place through the sky due to the weather.
Caracciolo also came away with a huge interception in the third quarter and the Golden Knights did not allow much action from the Indians on the offensive side.
