FRANKLIN LAKES- No. 8 Ramapo took on No. 20 Randolph in a battle of unbeaten powerhouses in the regular season finale for both teams and when all was set and done, the Raiders walked away with a 42-0 win and emerged 9-0 and the Rams fell to 8-1 as they both turn their attention to the playoffs.
Ramapo prepares for the North Jersey, Section 1, Group 3 playoffs, while Randolph prepares for the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 4 playoffs to begin next weekend. Ramapo is a projected top seed in North Jersey, Section 1, Group 3, while Randolph is a projected second seed in North Jersey, Section 2, Group 4.
The Raiders offense was powered by quarterback A.J. Wingfield, who came into action with 23 touchdown passes and just over 1,500 passing yards on the season. Luke Ragone ran for two scores the ground and Isaiah Savitt caught two receptions, both for touchdowns.
