LINDEN, NJ- The Linden High School boys varsity basketball team took to the floor Tuesday night against the Roselle Catholic High School Lions (ranked No. 1 on NJ.com’s Top 20), who have been a force this season and proved why they’re the top team in the state of New Jersey.
The Tigers (ranked No. 6 on NJ.com’s Top 20) fell behind by a score of 7-0 and never really got in sync on both sides of the ball, losing to the Lions by a final score of 65-45 Tuesday night in Linden.

The Tigers would get within 7-4 less than a minute later, but the Lions continued to shoot the ball and connect on their shots, closing out the first quarter on a 10-6 run to take a 17-10 lead heading into the second quarter.
As the second quarter went along, the Tigers continued to battle to get back in the game.
